Star Wars: Forces of Corruption: Piracy HELP?

When I'm playing SW FOC, as the rebels in a galactic conquest game type, one of my planets became corrupted with piracy. Before I was able to get a hero over there to remove the corruption, they attacked with a ground unit. Keep in mind at this planet I had a level 5 space station and a small armada guarding it. Once the ground unit showed up, i was told to begin or auto-resolve the conflict. Thinking it would be a piece of cake I began it only to discover that my level 5 space station was now 100% Zann Consortium owned! Is this a glitch or how do I do that when I play as the Zann? Thanks.
